When I started the book, it was known as the "Warehouse" to me, but that name didn't do the book justice to the story, so it was tabled. When I started writing the 2nd book, my editor suggested we call it the Warehouse Series. In the end, I decided on Warehouse Chronicles.
It mostly takes place in an alternate reality. In the beginning of the book, we are in the real world. Our real world is in USA, probably in or around New York state.
Copilot by Microsoft is my AI assistant. I provided the guidance and instructions and Copilot created the images along with some basic editing by me.
As I was writing The Magician’s Carnival of Horror, I knew everything about the Magician, his presence, his power, his emotional gravity, but I didn’t know his name. He was elusive, mysterious, and somehow beyond naming. I let the book reflect that mystery.
The story followed my writing journey: I wrote him as “The Greatest Magician,” and for a long time, that was enough. It wasn’t until I began working with a professional editor that the name Aris Vescovi finally emerged. Honestly, I was afraid he’d never have a name. But when it arrived, it felt right, like he’d finally stepped forward and introduced himself.
I love hearing from readers, whether it’s a favorite scene, a burning question, or just a hello.
